focus
I'm trying to stay focused, so if you don't see me much, you'll understand why. I've got maybe four more chapters to write and then Queen of Swords is finished.
Of course between now and then is the Holiday (I do like to thumb my nose at Bill O'Reilly) which adds a dozen or so items to my already neglected to-do list. But I am determined to finish, and to that end I'm going to go into exile in the week after Christmas to a cabin about two hours away. Me and the dogs and the computer.
Back to work.

Hi Sara/Rosina, I'm a lurker for the most part but had to respond to your post. I'm so glad you are close to completion of Queen of Swords!!! Can't wait. Oh, BTW It's funny that you mention Bill O'Reilly in the post and the whole "Holiday brouhaha". I'm a Christian but boy, I want to distance myself from that nut. Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza, Season Greetings, Happy Hannukah, who cares which? O'Reilly said .... (saw this on the Daily Show) that Christians are offended when someone says to them "Happy Holiday or Seasons Greetings". Well, I for one, am not. I'm just happy they are wishing me well. I've said Merry Christmas to people of other faiths too, and I haven't gotten stoned yet. Most people take it in the spirit its given. Geez. Don't see why these guys are making such a big deal out of nothing. There are so many more important things to make a big deal of, ya know. Anyway, Happy Holidays!!!

Cathy -- well put. And merry Christmas. Or happy Christmas, as they say in England.

have finished all three wilderness novels and can't wait till Queen of Swords is out. i am an artist and you have so inspired me to paint and sketch the different scenes as you have painted them with words. THANK YOU! I, like you, am taking my paints after the holiday and go to my hide-away for a while so I can find my soul again after the holidays, so I wish you a very productive and creative time during YOUR exile!
Sincerely,
Anneke Bennett

Anneke - If you've only read three books, then you're missing one! Queen of Swords is the fifth book in the series. Find. Read. Enjoy!

Ditto on that... just ignore him, and hopefully he will fade away... i prefer your world anyway...
Anneke, she has inspired me to sculpt, and she paints words so beautifully, does'nt she? (O'Reilly could really use some help from her... *G*) Oh, i even you still having one more to read though they are just as satisfying to re~read. BethR, the first time when you read her work... it is like being on a great adventure... is'nt iT?
WiSHiNG you and yours the best... now i must get back to my thing... looking forward to when the newest work is published.
