meme robbery

A good while ago I put the 7x7 feature in the right hand column. Because I was thinking about my birthday next month, and trying to think what I'd miss about being 49: and thus was 7x7 born. Now I find that bloggers hither and yon are 7x7ing. Is this coincidence? I couldn't find the origin of the meme, but I'm wondering.

Have I been robbed? And if so, do I care?

...Nah.

HA! I actually looked over at it the other day and considered it, because I like it more than the 100 things that many people do.

I always assumed you did it because 7 is a lucky number or your favorite number or something along those lines.

well this is probably the weirdest comment that you have ever gotten and it's probably not even in the right place but I wanted to send this letter to sara donati as one of her biggest fans. I am only 16 years old and yet I have found something in the Into The Wilderness series that really touches me. I am now on the fourth book, Fire Along the Sky which is so surprising and intriguing and I can't seem to want to put it down. I hear that there will be a fifth book coming out and I can't stress how much I am looking forward to this fifth book. Although I know that it impossible for the characters of the book to live on forever, I find myself wishing that the story will continue on forever. The Bonner's along with some of the other characters have become like a family to me which I can visit in my dreams and it is you Sara who has helped with that. Your creative mind has brought the world these books which we should all appreciate and respect. I know that when the last of these books are published it will be a sad time but I will definately keep these books for a lifetime and no doubt will read them more than once throughout my life.

thank you so much for the opportunity to become a part of your imagination Sara

many thanks

Coral -- not weird in the least, but very kind of you. I'm so pleased to hear how much you're enjoying the story. When I'm having a hard time writing, notes like yours give me a great boost.

Not to mention, I have a sixteen year old daughter I can show your comment to, as proof that I'm not always an embarrassment.
