I often wonder why on book covers they do stuff like that, this is not the first time I've noticed something like this, can't off the bat think of any examples.  What is the point of putting people on the cover that don't exist in the book?

I also was wondering what covers are for what editions. My ITW has a red cover, but looks just like the "traditional" cream covered book. My DOADS has a graphic that coveres the whole cover, but I've seen blue ones with "framed" pictures. Does anyone know why there are differences -different editions maybe?

I would'nt have thought that it would be Nathaniel and Elizabeth, because they did'nt go near the war scene, and because the way that they are standing together is more of a sibling pose/posture. Elizabeth and Nathaniel would be more joint, closer together.
But nobody, huh. I'm gonna stick with Daniel and Hannah. lol

Interesting - in Australia the Trade paperback and regular paperback is what you have for hardcover! I am starting to think that most of our covers are different in some way to the US - even QOS is a bit different. And.....we don't get hard cover ITW books here!
